HOW I WORK
the proposal

I create a Proposal for the project. The Proposal is a brief contract that  describes the work to be done, my committed start and delivery dates, the price, and any special requirements on my part or the client's.

Ideally the client promptly agrees to the Proposal verbally, by email, or by fax, and I reserve the stated period of time for the client's project.

In reality, clients rarely decide instantly. In practice the Proposal is my short-term statement of the potential project's parameters; if other requests for my time are made while the Proposal is pending, I will call to confirm the client's continuing interest.
